Wood wax finish
The intensive colours in the Wood Wax Finish range keep interior wooden surfaces nourished and in optimal condition. The product is ideal for finishing wall panelling, mouldings and furniture, and as a coloured base coat for wooden flooring. It’s also popular for use on children’s toys!
Like most Osmo finishes, this range of products is based on natural ingredients, and once dry, remains breathable and microporous. Finished wood is able regulate its own moisture content naturally and swelling and shrinkage is reduced.
Osmo oil finishes penetrate and nourish the wood keeping it healthy and flexible, while the dried coating resists cracking, peeling and flaking. If maintained at the correct time, no sanding is necessary when spot repairing or topping up.
The finish is extremely safe and once dry will have a finish that is safe for humans, animals and plants.
When it comes to the choice of colours you really are spoilt for choice. Wood Wax Finish Intensive can be effortlessly mixed to any RAL, NCS or BS4800 colours using the Osmo Tinting System. Simply find your nearest Osmo Mix in Store stockist and get the product mixed in seconds.
Concrete oil
Concrete in various forms has been around for centuries. However, it is only in the last few years that it has made a transition to an interior product. It has an industrial heritage which makes it extremely durable, a quality that translates well to an interior environment.
The benefits of concrete furniture also go far beyond its strength and durability. The potential designs of concrete furniture can range from the very simple to ornate with each piece custom created to complement the surrounding decor.
Like many materials, concrete requires care and maintenance to retain its appealing qualities. Each concrete piece is often custom designed, so proper upkeep is essential.
One effective way to treat interior concrete products is by using Osmo Concrete Oil. This oil combines the benefits of natural oils and waxes without forming a film on the surface, which is particularly crucial for concrete. Instead, it penetrates the material, making the microporous surface water and dirt-resistant as well as stain-proof. This treatment is especially beneficial for concrete wall panels and flooring in kitchens and bathrooms, as well as for tabletops and window sills.
