For over 40 years, Jennyfields have been installing innovative specialist glazing products.

Based in Surrey, they install throughout the Southeast of England, specialising in replicating the look of period properties and looking into the smaller details to make every installation unique.

Whether that be recreating a classic 1930s look, a modern version of steel-leaded windows and doors for Arts and Crafts properties, or classic Georgian bars for Art Deco buildings.

Jennyfields work closely with designers, engineers and fabricators to produce slimline glazing products that meet with the latest demanding building regulations. Working with aluminium and steel, their Century Steel® range has become such a versatile product for both external and internal installations, as well as room dividers and bathroom screens.

Steel Replacement Service

This case study, created in Partnership with Jennyfields, sits on a hill overlooking the river Hamble. The client wanted to respect the character of their 1930s home whilst modernising and bringing it in line with the 21st century.

A collaboration of designs were brought together to combine the old with the new. Keeping the original oak timber surrounds, slimline Georgian-style aluminum windows were fitted, replacing the old single-glazed steel frames with new 1.0 U value double glazing, whilst focusing on a soft textured powder coat finish throughout the home.

Wanting a combination of bifolds and French doors, Jennyfields incorporated the 25mm bars with crossover pressings to follow the Georgian theme throughout. Bespoke brass handles were sourced to fit with the clients' contemporary feel inside.

To help the client visualise the finished project, Jennyfields provided a tailored design service where pictures and plans were Photoshopped. It was a big job with lots of challenges, but the finished result is stunning.

Internal Doors and Screens

Century steel® is the latest internal range launched at Jennyfields and was recently incorporated into the Farnham Golf Club as part of the refurbishment of the clubhouse.

The steel bi-parting bifolds were powder-coated in an olive green to complement the carefully curated interior design. The discrete 25mm floor track was buried in the floor to create a flush thoroughfare, enabling the area to be doubled in size or partitioned for smaller rooms and functions. The laminated soundproof glass was dressed with 20mm steel glazing bars.

Part of the Century steel® range includes fixed screens, single and double hinged doors, pocket and sliding doors. With a wide range of tinted and textured glass, the design of the doors can be plain glazed, chosen from one of the 29 standard designs, or your own personal design.

A versatile product with a choice of stylish handles and locks, Century Steel® has been installed in many locations such as kitchen and dining dividers, shower screens, wine room displays and private dining areas in restaurants.
