Kingspan TEK® is our structural insulated panels (SIPs), engineered and manufactured in a quality-controlled factory to your architectural plans. Due to its thermal technology, Kingspan TEK® can deliver a thermal performance as low as Passivhaus standard.

Kingspan Timber Solutions

Specialising in timber-frame build systems and Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to help you build an energy-efficient home. 

By working with you and your architect, your frame is engineered and manufactured offsite in our quality-controlled factory, and delivered to site for an efficient build by our team of STA approved erectors. 

Find out more about our self-build process:

Step 1 – Get in touch! The first step is to send us your architectural drawings, so that we can have an in-depth discussion about your project. Our self build consultant will look at your plans, to understand more about your build in order to provide a comprehensive quote. 

Step 2 – Once you’ve received your quote, we’ll explain the items we’ve quoted for, including our secondary insulation package with free SAP calculations. We’ll also help you identify essential areas to look out for when comparing quotes to make sure you understand all the vital details you’ll need to include to help you budget for your build.

Step 3 – Working with you and your architect your technical drawings are prepared and when complete your home will be manufactured in our quality-assured factory based in Cambridgeshire.

Step 4 – You’ll be assigned a contract manager to help you prepare your site ready for the build. They will guide you through our on-site process with requirements for cranage, hardstanding, access checks, and scaffolding guidance. 

Step 5 – Your frame is delivered to site and erected by our team of STA approved erectors. Our team will arrive on-site to build your structure, with each team having a working supervisor, who’ll be the person in charge during our work on-site. You’ll also be supported by our contract manager, who’ll be on hand to oversee and support this part of your build.
