LifestilesCotswold Vale tiles are left as the colour of the raw material, to display all the characteristics of this traditional limestone material.

Stone roofing is one of the marks of the Cotswold’s architectural heritage and world renowned for its natural beauty and aesthetics.

Cotswold Vale stone roofing slates are quarried and hand cut from oolithic limestone dating from the Jurassic period, almost identical in terms of structure, composition and aesthetics to that found in quarries located in the Cotswold’s which are now suffering from a limited supply.

In addition to the Cotswold Vale tile Lifestiles also produce natural Spanish slate tiles in their Chilborn range.

Lifestiles‘ factories produce tiles in the same traditional way they have been made over the 500 year history of the UK clay roof tile industry, giving a traditional English appearance whilst maintaining the necessary quality required by the current strict EU standards. King Edward IV standardised English plain tiles back in 1477 and the size specification remains the same today.

Their clay tiles are available in six individual and pre-mixed colours, offering you more choice and flexibility ensuring your finished roof is exactly what you want. They can also make “bespoke” mixes, tailor made to your exact specification. Slate and natural stone complete their product portfolio.

Their products have stood the harsh tests of the unique British climate since first being introduced some 30 years ago. Just to reinforce this ALL our clay products are tested to British Standards by independent global experts Ceram Research, giving you the look you require with piece of mind for the future.

Their clients include architects, developers, self-builders, roofing contractors, building and roofing merchants and home owners. Please feel free to call, email or simply browse our website at your leisure and take the first step to having the roof you desire.
