I tested the Molekule Air Pro and it made me realise just how many daily toxins we release into our homes

Although I tested the Molekule Air Pro as I live on a busy street and assumed the outdoor air was poor quality, it was the air inside my home that provided the most surprises

Homebuilding Verdict

I was keen to try an air purifier as I've always wondered if they really do make a difference, and if the air we breathe is as poor quality as we're led to believe. Living on a busy street I assumed the air in my home was sub-standard, but what surprised me the most was how daily life releases more toxins inside my home than I'd ever appreciated.

While I'm an advocate of using appliances such as dehumidifiers to help make the air inside my home fresher, I've not yet committed to investing in a state of the art air purifier. So, when the opportunity to review the Molekule Air Pro arose, I was keen to put it to the test.

Living in a first floor apartment on a busy high street in the middle of a town, had led me to assume the air inside my home is far from fresh. Dust, smoke and car fumes make their way inside – less so in the winter when windows are closed – but in the summer when the windows are open to help with ventilation, it's impossible for the air quality to not decline.
