This Self Build With a Slide is Now on Sale for £900k
A contemporary self build with a twist is getting attention on Rightmove - don’t let these ideas slide by if you need inspiration for your own project
A self build with an indoor slide is currently one of Rightmove’s most-viewed properties, which is now on sale for a cool £900,000.
Rightmove experienced its busiest-ever January this year with more than 218m visits to the property website, as house prices continue to remain buoyant amid robust housing demand.
And one of its five most-viewed properties is a 2020 self build which has understandably “been getting lots of attention already this year”, Rightmove says.
The contemporary Norfolk pad features a bright green indoor slide - ostensibly for children - that connects a galleried landing to the below bedroom.
Newly built in 2020, the current owners built the home to a very high specification (it has a B-rated Energy Performance Certificate), and it sits on 4,000 square feet of living space.
There's More Too...
The slide is certainly an eye-catching feature, but when it comes to the rest of the house, the only way is up. There’s six bedrooms spread across three floors, with huge open-plan living spaces accommodating swathes of natural light through feature glazed panels.
This self build also has underfloor heating, gloss-white floor tiles and 15-foot bifold doors which open up to a large garden which is full of incredible ideas if you’re looking to revamp your garden design. There’s an outdoor kitchen sheltered by an oak-framed pergoda, as well as a built-in fire pit.
