On Thursday 24 April 2025 Homebuilding & Renovating will be hosting an exciting new masterclass, which will be available to Homebuilding & Renovating Premium members.

'Everything You Need To Know About Heat Pumps' will be hosted by Michael Holmes, one of the UK’s leading property experts and Homebuilding & Renovating's Director of Content, and he'll be speaking to David Hilton, one of the UK's leading voices on sustainability and green energy.

David Hilton

David is a fully qualified gas installer and refrigeration, air conditioning, renewables and ventilation engineer with over 38 years of experience.

He has a Master's degree in sustainable architecture and is an authority in sustainable building and energy efficiency, with extensive knowledge of building fabrics, heat recovery ventilation, renewables and heating systems.

Michael, one of the UK’s leading property experts, is Homebuilding & Renovating's Director of Content, Vice Chair of the National Custom and Self Build Association, presenter of multiple property TV shows and author of Renovating for Profit. 

He also runs an architectural design practice, and has undertaken over 50 building projects.

Teresa was part of a team that launched Easy Gardens in 2018 and worked as the Editor on this magazine. She has extensive experience writing and editing content on gardens and landscaping on brands such as Homes & Gardens, Country Homes & Interiors and Living Etc magazine. In 2020 Teresa bought her first home. She and her partner worked alongside architects and builders to transform the downstairs area of her two bedroom Victorian house in north London into a usable space for her family. Along the way she learned the stresses, woes and joys of home renovation, and is now looking to her next project, landscaping the back garden.
