Josh Widdecombe and Rose Hanson's £850k mansion renovation plans revealed
The stand-up comedian and his TV producer wife intend to rent the seafront property to holidaymakers while they're not living there
Comedian Josh Widdecombe and his wife Rose Hanson are renovating a £1 million home they bought together on the Cornwall coast.
The Last Leg star, 40, and TV producer wife are renovating a house in the village of Mullion and are extending the property with a budget of £850,000.
Rose, 40, has chronicled the renovation on Instagram and revealed they aim to rent it to holidaymakers when they are at home in London.

Pictures of the renovation show builders have torn down sections of the property and demolished a damp-ridden conservatory to make way for creating a garden room.
The extensive refurb includes a home gym and the social media posts showcase the incredible sea views. One post also mentions progress on a trendy outdoor kitchen.

The couple are taking pains to protect the original design features of the Georgian property, such as its blinds and tole chandelier, “epic” fireplace, and sweeping bay windows.
Many commenters were positive about their efforts at renovating a Georgian house.

Rose said: “We plan to spend as much time as we can in Cornwall, Josh's family are in Devon so it's great to be near them and we will be renting it out probably through a company when we're not there.”
Rose also spoke about the extent of Josh’s contributions to the design of the property, saying: “He's good at writing jokes, I'm good with interiors, we stick to our lanes.”
Many Instagram followers of the couple's channel @penrosehouse have expressed support for the renovation.
One fan said: “This is the best bit of renovating, when you start putting everything back together and the house starts to shine again! I love all of your interior design choices so far.”
