Charlotte Church sells home she got married in for £2.1m
Charlotte got married on the home's grounds to her husband Jonathan Powell in 2017
Charlotte Church is selling the South Wales home she got married in 2017 for £2.1 million.
Charlotte married her current husband, Jonathan Powell, on the grounds of their home, The Spinney, located in Twyncyn, Dinas Powys, which she described as being "magical".
But the Welsh singer has now sold the property and moved into and started renovating her new house in Llansantffraed-Cwmdeuddwr.
Charlotte says she 'absolutely adored the house'
Church was sad to see the back of her martial home after reminiscing about her wedding day following the sale.
She said: "There are loads of magical little areas, one being the spinney which is like a coppice of trees, so we got married in there, so that’s a very special, sacred place.
"We genuinely have absolutely adored the house and its grounds; it's looked after us and we're so excited for a new family to move in and take over as guardians of this beautiful place."
Stunning orangery added during renovations
The home experienced a number of renovations ever since Ms Church purchased the property back in 2010.

Charlotte has extensively renovated her home to complement its outdoor features, adding a dining room extension and a large log burner in the living room.
The kitchen has been completely refurbished with a new kitchen island for her three children as well as a new expansive orangery.
Jemma Friday from Fine & Country Cardiff said after the house was put up for sale for £2.25 million that the house had been comprehensively changed over the past 13 years, stating: "The house has undergone extensive refurbishment since it was purchased 13 years ago, and although impressive in size it retains a cosy and homely feel."
Church moves to new Rhydoldog House permanently
Charlotte Church's new house has been transformed after originally purchasing the £1.5 million, 47-acre property into an eco-friendly, off-grid commune in mid-2021.
Rhydoldog House in Llansantffraed-Cwmdeuddwr, Rhayader, currently derives 80% of its energy from an onsite hydro-mill, with plans to add solar panels for the remaining 20%. Renovations include converting a barn for events, installing a pond, and adding vehicle passing places for better access.
The property was eventually granted planning permission by Powys County Council to change the use of the main house and she and her husband have now moved in to their new home permanently.
