How to book
Once you have registered for Homebuilding & Renovating Premium, you will be able to access our Ask The Experts booking page where you can secure your slot.
You will have the option to provide notes on your project and include any specific questions which will help give context to your chat in advance, ensuring you make the most of your time with our expert.
This month's expert
David Hilton, renewables and sustainability expert, will be hosting 15-minute calls with Homebuilding & Renovating Premium members on 30 April 2025. Slots are limited, so we recommend you act quickly to avoid disappointment. Please also note that the booking system will close at 9am on Friday 25 April.
He will be on hand to offer expert advice on building fabric and heating, including conventional, modern and alternative systems. So whether you want advice on everything from ground and air source heat pumps to solar panels and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems (MVHR), David has extensive knowledge in these areas.

David is a fully qualified gas installer and refrigeration, air conditioning, renewables and ventilation engineer with over 38 years of experience.
He has a Master's degree in sustainable architecture and is an authority in sustainable building and energy efficiency, with extensive knowledge of building fabrics, heat recovery ventilation, renewables and heating systems.

In 2020 Teresa bought her first home.
