Alan Carr and Amanda Holden's 88p Tuscan home has gone on sale for £187,777
The celeb pair created a striking property with a jaw-dropping garden and views of the Italian countryside
The Italian property renovated by Britain’s Got Talent star Amanda Holden and TV comedian Alan Carr has gone up for sale on Rightmove and was the site's most viewed home in February.
The besties spent the summer renovating a house in Tuscany and refurbishment journey was captured by a camera crew for the second series of the hit BBC show Alan and Amanda’s Italian Job.
In the first series, the pair renovated a pair of adjoining apartments in rural Sicily into a two-bedroom apartment. Holden brought the former social housing flats in Salemi in southwestern Sicily for a staggering one euro (about 88p each) and spent the season building the home – Casa Alamanda – with Alan.
Celeb pair design a bedroom and bathroom each
Amanda, 53, and close friend Alan, 47, each designed a bedroom and were tasked with renovating a bathroom in the £187,777 property.
Amanda’s effort features vibrant bedroom wall panelling and a headboard and cushions with matching patterns. For the bedroom, she went with a striking classical art-style mural, gold resin flooring, a resin bathtub, naked stone walls, and lighting from a vintage stained glass globe.
Alan went much simpler for his projects. The bedroom is painted in white, pink, and green, which evokes an impressionist field, combined with plants and dark wood. The bathroom is stylish and minimalist, with a hand stone hand basin and a neutral colour palette.
Open plan kitchen with central Carrara island
Casa Alamanda II’s new owners will discover a brand-new kitchen complete with a marble Carrara island. The kitchen is also equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, original beams, and period tiles.

There is also a living room with original wooden floors and an adjacent room that has been transformed into a home theatre.
The 155-square-meter house is spread across three levels: a hallway leading to a stairwell and the wine cellar, the second level incorporating the open plan kitchen and living room, and the third level, with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Stunning new landscaped garden
The kitchen leads out onto a herb garden and seating area perfect for enjoying balmy Italian evenings and is inspiration for anyone seeking garden landscaping ideas.
The Rightmove listing adds: “The garden, accessed from the kitchen via the balcony, has been landscaped to form a delightful terrace with a herb garden and seating area for al fresco aperitivos, providing breathtaking views of the river and surrounding mountains.”
Roy Santi, Director & Estate Agent at Dimore Toscane said: “The property is a little jewel with truly dramatic vistas of the river and mountains. The renovation respects the traditional materials and detailing present in this type of rural Tuscan home.”
All the money raised from the sale will go to charity.
